for remoteSSH.
remoteSSIM is a
tool for Symantec Security Information Manager (SSIM)
to edit sensors of MSVista collector.
The tool provides the following functions:
- import/load sensors from given .XML or .CSV files
- export/save sensors as .XML or .CSV file
- shows imported sensor list as a tree-structure in left pane
- imported/exported sensor list can be sorted by sensorName
- delete individual sensors or entire sensor lists of
<Delete>-key
- edit individual sensors
MSVistaSensor can be run in CMD-line without GUI as well.
e.g.:
java -jar MSVistaSensor.jar inputfile1.xml inputfile2.csv exportsensors.xml

Because doublettes of sensorNames are not possible, it may happen that
certain operations, such as importing or during editing, are not allowed
and will be discarded as they would cause doublettes.
This behaviour can be changes via setting merge
which allows you to import sensorlist that contain existing and non-existing sensorNames.
In this case the new (non-existing) sensorNames will be merged into the sensorlist.
